Expanding Yohji Yamamoto’s black with precise color accents, this design balances rebellion and refinement.

“Black is modest and arrogant at the same time. Black is lazy and easy - but mysterious. But above all black says this: "I don’t bother you - don’t bother me".”

Yamamoto is renowned for his deconstructivist approach, where traditional clothing structures are taken apart and reassembled in unconventional ways. This often results in garments with unexpected shapes, exposed seams, and unfinished edges.

What If a pair of Yohji Yamamoto shoes were to incorporate deconstructed design, use organic lines and patterns to break symmetry?
